Zenith Bank Plc is on a winning streak. For the fourth consecutive year the bank has won the Best Commercial Bank Award of the World Finance Banking Awards. Also, for the third year in a row, the bank won the Best Corporate Governance Award.
The news of the awards, reported in the Summer 2024 edition of the World Finance Magazine, recognises Zenith Bank’s “robust financial performance, superior customer service, sustainability initiatives and corporate governance practices.”
Dame (Dr) Adaora Umeoji, OON, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank Plc, who dedicated the award to Dr Jim Ovia, CFR, and Chairman of the bank, remarked that the awards highlight Zenith Bank’s dedication to excellence, adherence to global best practices and persistent effort to deliver superior value to its stakeholders.
In addition to these awards, Zenith Bank Plc had won several other recognitions and awards for its committment to excellence and culture of good corporate governance.
